Where we move locally

Our home base is Clovis and Fresno. We also help with moves into the nearby Madera County foothill communities.

Where we shine: whole-home moves where planning and care matter, like larger family homes, relocations, estates and moves with packing. Have a smaller move? You’re still welcome. Tell GinaBot about it and the Olympic team will let you know how we can help.

“Every move is unique. Our goal is to give you the best service at the best price. As a locally owned and operated family company serving this area, we’ve found the best way to deliver that value is by the hour. All of our local jobs in town are billed hourly, so you only pay for the actual time you use.”

Long-distance moves are different: the Olympic team prepares a flat-rate quote that includes the moving crew, a fully equipped truck, fuel, van prep, relocation equipment, loading, unloading and placement of your furniture in your new home.

How pricing works

What shapes the hours on a local move

Two “three-bedroom” moves can be very different. What affects the time:

  • How much is moving, room by room
  • Whether you’d like packing, and how much
  • Stairs, elevators and how close the truck can park
  • Heavy or specialty items: pianos, safes, gym equipment, antiques
  • Extra stops, such as a storage unit or a second drop-off

Share these details with GinaBot for a free virtual estimate, and the Olympic team gets back to you with approximate hours. Every local move has a 3-hour minimum, weekdays and Saturdays alike (including double drive time). No Sunday moves.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a local move?

Generally, moves within Clovis, Fresno and nearby communities, roughly within about 50 miles. Farther moves get a flat-rate quote from our team. See long-distance moves.

How is a local move billed?

By the hour, for the actual time used. Your billable time is loading, unloading, and the drive between your two locations counted once more (double drive time, required by California law). For local moves the drive counts as at least 15 minutes, and it’s calculated by GPS.

What affects how long my move takes?

The amount you’re moving, how much is packed and ready, stairs and elevators, how close the truck can park, and any heavy or specialty items. The more we know up front, the better we can plan.

Can you do my move tomorrow?

For moves within 48 hours, please call 559-392-2400. A team member needs to confirm last-minute moves personally. GinaBot can’t check the schedule.
